KITS, Premium, Electrical-DC/Low Frequency 3458A/AC
Premium Kit

8.5 Digit Digital Multimeter

The intent of the 3458A/AC ILC/PT is to provide a means for the participant to determine the appropriateness and effectiveness of participant practices, training, and measurement uncertainty relating to calibration of a 8.5 digit Digital Multi-function Meter (DMM).

This ILC/PT Kit contains a 8.5 digit DMM. Participants will use their lab practices to perform 15 measurements of voltage and current. Measurement values will be appropriate for calibration of similar devices.

Participants are expected to be familiar with, and have appropriate lab equipment and measurement uncertainties for calibration of similar devices.

Artifact in kit: HP 3458A, 8.5 Digit DMM

HP 3458A

*Premium Kit enrollment: $795. Discounts are not applicable to Premium Kits.

**TRAVEL KIT: This kit travels with the 3458A/DC, should you decide to participate in the 3458A/DC, there is an additional $300 fee per submittal.

KITS AC-DC-124

AC-DC Power Supply

This ILC/PT kit is to provide a means for a participant in a proficiency test where participants can measure AC/DC Voltages.  Participants will be able to show technical competence when determining the appropriateness and effectiveness of their procedures, practices, training, and measurement uncertainty.  This ILC/PT Kit consists of a power supply where participants will measure five AC Volt Measurements and five DC Volt Measurements.

Participants are expected to be familiar with and have appropriate reference standards to acquire the measurement and determine the uncertainties for the measurements made.

Artifact in kit: R.S.R., M10-350-04, 4 to 20 Volts

KITS, Electrical-RF/Microwave ATNR dB Loss-210

Attenuators Set of 5 Power Meter

The intent of this ILC/PT is to provide a means for the participant to determine the appropriateness and effectiveness of participant practices, training, and measurement uncertainty relating to the calibration of RF Attenuators between 1 and 26.5 GHz.

This ILC/PT contains a set of 5 attenuators; each is a 20 dB, 3.5 mm device.

Participants will utilize their practices to perform 60 separate attenuation measurements, as they connect each device, perform dB Loss measurement at a predetermined four frequencies, remove the device, rotate the device per instructions, reconnect, perform measurements at the same four frequencies, remove and rotate the device again and reconnect to perform a third set of measurements. The average of the three measurements at each frequency is reported, and the entire process is repeated with the remaining 4 attenuators.
