Eagan, MN, March 5, 2024 - The National Association for Proficiency Testing (NAPT), the most trusted name in the metrology community for providing administration, development, software tools, and support for interlaboratory comparisons, is delighted to announce the appointment of Christopher Grachanen to the NAPT Board of Directors as Director of Technical Development. 

Christopher brings decades of experience in metrology and calibration, coupled with a distinguished career marked by numerous awards and accolades. He currently serves as the Calibration Services Global Technical Manager at National Instruments and holds the title of Fellow with the American Society for Quality (ASQ).

Christopher was pivotal in establishing NAPT 28 years ago as one of the original board members. Since then, he has been a driving force, advancing the field of proficiency testing and assisting the entire metrology community, earning him respect and admiration among his peers.

"I am honored to join the NAPT Board of Directors and contribute to the organization's mission of promoting excellence in proficiency testing," said Christopher Grachanen. “I am committed to enhancing and expanding NAPT service offerings for seasoned and emerging technologies to help customers make more informed decisions regarding measurement risk and process control.
